Is it illegal to put camo duck tape on a clear airsoft gun in Canada?

It shouldn't matter what you put on it, but keep the orange tip the same color. For some expensive airsoft guns it's the only way to see if it is fake or not. Everything except the tip should be able to be changed. Don't blame me if it's not correct. I live in the USA.
